hey i just put my lift on this weekend and was double checking everything tonight (btw i have not driving it yet) and noticed i made the left control arm 1 thread shorter than the right one in the front.and that 1 thread makes a diff in the tire clearance. so my question is, can i adjust that one control arm without disconecting the shocks and springs if i support the axel with a jack? or what is the best way to do this?

chock the front and rear tires just to be safe
unbolt the arm and adjust it. just don't try and move the jeep at all without the arm.

what lift you install?

a rubicon super flex with all adjustable control arms. its 5.5" of lift.

so are u saying i can do it while its sitting on all 4 tires as long as it can't move. and when i adjust the control arm should i use the jack and jack the left side of the axel up so i can reconect the control arm with its new setting.

I pulled my LCA's out to bang em with a hammer..... just chocked the tires.
