Will my caliper brackets, backing plates, etc. off of my d44a bolt on to a dana 44 out of a TJ? I thought I had read some place that they wouldn't, but I can't find that post again.
Thanks,
Joe

P.S. I don't really want an 8.8, and I already have the TJ 44

Yes I think they will.. I am not certain but I do know that I put a set of ZJ D35 disks on a TJ Sahara 44 about 4 months ago...So it only makes sense that the 44's brakes will work..

You may need the TJ 44 bearing retainer.. IT a part for the Rubicons..It cost about $12 or so each at Jeep dealership..I can get you the part number if you need it..

Let me know..
