I've been brain storming about how I can keep at least rough winds out of my pile for those winter rides when I chop the rear. My first thought was to cut the hatch down and just weld it ~ were the rear seats are, but the cage stops that from happening. Anyone have any ideas? Just need someting for those 0 deg rides.

I used 14 gauge sheet metal and welded it in and used a toyota pickups sliding glass window in the back..

I have since dumped the tailgate and made a spare tire holder... This is what it looks like now..

Oh.. I have enogh room to run the roll cage that I am getting thru the top corner by the window.. So That may work for you as well... I am just going to cut holes and runn my rear post thru it and weld the cage together ... I will probobly just silicone around the tube to keep weather out... (No cold here .. Just alot of rain....)
Hope that helps..
