I know I'm totall idiot. Don't remind me. Well I've just never had to deal with hubs before. So I'm getting ready to put the manual hubs in my 44 and put it under there. Dude, I have no idea how that shit goes back together. Anyone have any links or could quickly off the top of thier head tell me how they go back together? Or else I see myself spending mad time pulling some guess and check work.

Did you take apart the actual hub portion? The outer most section (the actual hub) that is retained by the snapring on the shaft itself and the outer circular ring that snaps into the outer hub housing? If that is intact, it should be easy. Spindle bolts to knuckle with caliper mount attached to it, then slide the hub body and rotor over the spindle with the wheel bearing inside. Make sure it's seated all the way back and then thread on the first of the 2 hub nuts onto the shaft with the little pin out. Then install the lock washer with all the holes in it over the shaft and over the pin. Then install the 2nd hub nut. Make sure both nuts are torqued to 50 ft/lbs. and then install the actual hub, making sure that you can get the snap ring over the shaft. That is pretty much it. If you still are confused, just get the Waggy Haynes.

And if it's the actual hub you're talking about, http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech/dana44hub.php.

This is a great place for D44 information and there are directions for removing the parts. Just do it backwards from that and make sure to grease. Half of everyone I know says pack it with grease, the other half says just lightly coat.

I suggest reading all his articles.

Great thanks. Turns out the hubs are easy as hell, it's the junk that goes behind there. Imma check out those links.
