yeah i know this isnt cheap shit but has anybody messed with capabilites compared to steel or is it just to pricey to deal with ie trail carnage just wanted to here some thoughts thanx

Good for F1 cars, not so good for Jeeps.

If you put a nick in it (cut the fibers), the fibers will start to come apart, so dragging the part across rocks would not be a good idea.

another thing about carbon stuff like carbon driveshafts on race cars, if you smash the shaft on a rock just perfectly it could shatter. We just went over this kind of stuff in my High Performance class at school.
