Ok well the axles are in.....obviously. I still need to do the hydro assist and the 1 ton stearing. just hacked the front fenders and the bumper tonight. the inner fenders will be getting tubbed this weekend and they do not have much room inside for the 38's. so i thoguht i'd post a few pics of the progress.

the rear will also get chopped. kinda a wast of time cause when i exo the junk i will choip alot and have big wide flat top fendera and i'm going to chop the front and rear so the bumpers will only be as wide as the frame rails like CBassette's.

it fuckin sux right now i have 3.73's in the rear with a detroit and 4.10's in the front. only having 2wd is killing me but i have done some 2wd 4x4in. the detroit helps out ALOT.

Flame on!!

With ratios that close, I wouldn't hesitate to put it in 4wd when I need a traction boost at a tough spot, and go back to 2wd when the problem is past. Tire slip will keep you ok. I was in a similar situation 35 yrs ago. Was a bit easier, maybe, to use a Dana 20 t/c that way. You always knew exactly when you were in or out of 4wd.
