Ok so this is what i came up with when i asked the question about track bar geometry. I decided to just make my own. I bought 1 1/8 cold roll bar amd two 34/16 female hiem joints. After turning it on the lathe and cutting the threads this is what it looks like. Total cost was 72 and some change. Tell me what you guys think. Oh and also made reducers to go from 3/4 bolt to 1/2 bolt to be able to fit in the brackets that way i didnt drill them out and the also take up the gap of the brackethttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_143645_zpswnkn9jjl.jpg[/URLhttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_023444_zpsxvex44nl.jpg (http://s47.photobucket.com/user/bigcarry85/media/20141018_143645_zpswnkn9jjl.jpg.html)https://m.facebook.com/?_rdr<a href="http://s47.photobucket.com/user/bigcarry85/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20140927_142903_zps87bc8da2.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/Mobile%20Uploads/20140927_142903_zps87bc8da2.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20140927_142903_zps87bc8da2.jpg"/></ahttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_144832_zpskblzbyxo.jpg[/URLhttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_144832_zpskblzbyxo.jpg[/URLhttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_143630_zpsdyplyver.jpg[/URLhttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_004022_zpsuuokfnun.jpg[/http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_011644_zpshktopkes.jpg[/IMG[IMG]http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/bigcarry85/20141018_144843_zps9a9f1bhz.jpg (http://s47.photobucket.com/user/bigcarry85/media/20141018_144832_zpskblzbyxo.jpg.html)

I think you did some nice machining there, but you're going to rip off the stock bracket from the axle tube using that relocation bracket unless you reinforce it back to the tube.

I was thinking about that. I have to do some bracket work on the front track bar since i have the crossover steering it is hitting the track bar bracket before i get to full steer. So wheb i do that in yhe frony i am going to gusset the rear one. Thx for the complinemt

Is there any way that you can completely eliminate the relocation bracket and mount your new track bar to the original bracket? Do you have enough threads on both ends to accomplish that?

It's a combination of the relocation bracket's height and geometry that cause it to rip everything off the axle, and the best cure is to use just the original bracket and have the additional length to center the axle come from the track bar. It's not a question of "if" you'll rip the bracket off, but "when".

Right now i have the hiem joint threaded 1 1/14 onto the threads. I want to have the joint threaded atleast 1". I will have to crawl under there and see if i can put it into the stock location. If not it wouldnt be too much to cut a new bar. This is the first time using a bravket on the track bar mount. I was not aware of the possability for problems. Thx

Some folks have ripped that extension bracket off even after reinforcing it.
