These are pretty straightforward and simple, all it takes is a quick look and you understand what you need to do and more importantly, what you need to order!

We start you with 48" of 1.5" x .25" wall DOM tubing, then we make you choose between an axle Centered or Offset Bracket, and finally you decide if it will mount on the frame Inside or Outside. The Brackets give you 5 choices of mounting height.

It comes with a set of our 7/8" x 3/4" 4130 Heat & Cryo treated Heims with Stainless Misalignment and Hex Head weld bungs. The Hex Head bungs give you very fine adjustment easily. We also include the Grade 8 bolts in the correct length so you don't have to spend your day searching for them.

Here is a pic with both bracket choices so you get an idea of how it goes together...

These may be one of the most needed things for ZJ's when larger tires or a body lift are added to the mix. Check yours out and see if the rear axle is still centered...

do you expect anyone to buy your product when you refer to a body lift on a zj? good luck body lifting a unibody,

I'm no man of science, but I think When you put pucks on top of the springs, it tends to LIFT the uniBODY higher off the ground.Just sayin

Or maybe Dan sells to more than just Unibody folks?

I posted this on 67 websites but I bet his rear axle isn't centered ;) This is more than an issue for ZJ guys and yes, I do know a little about them... If you go up in tire size and don't do something about your rear panhard your axle shifts to the passenger side, simple as that... Dosen't do anything for vehicle handling in perfect conditions and makes snow and ice driving a real thrill... Not to mention the fact that you would be at fault in any accident...

It is still an issue, time to fix it!

How far does the offset panhard axle bracket move the mount forward/behind the axle tube center (assume a 3 1/8" tube size like a D60)?

Keep that axle from wrapping with one of these!

There are several reputable companies with adjustable track bars on the market that do not require welding Dan, do you have one to offer us? And most of us with taller lifts run a setup that does not utilize a rear track bar.

Not speaking for Dan, but Ruffstuff caters more to the fab-it-yourself crowd, not bolt-in kit people. Dan's kits are what you'd go to if you were doing an axle swap, plating the rails and going to custom mounts, or designing your suspension to work better and be stronger than bolt-on stuff will allow for, and you don't want to make your own brackets. A strictly bolt-on solution is marginal at best anyway for a lot of people here, just like the rest of the suspension, steering, axles, unibody, etc.

Besides, not making specialized kits (especially for vehicles that haven't been in production in 14 years) keeps prices down.

Thanks for standing in for me, sometimes we are just too busy to get to every forum every day...

I guess we always make things to go with our own personal experiences. My own experience with a bolt on kit years ago was the whole reason we developed this kit as a weld on only. The first time you are driving down the highway and hit something hard enough to have something in your steering move you will agree. Weld on is permanent and bolt on is prone to movement...enough said.

The offset panhard moves the bolt to the leading edge of the axle if placed vertical and you can also tilt it forward another inch if you need to...

I just got done installing my kit and replacing my Rusty's pile of junk bracket. I rue welded my Rusty's bracket twice and I had enough of it. I plated the unibody then installed the rest of the kit and it is awesome. It works fantastic and is crazy easy to install.

This is not true. Lifting the Jeep moves the axle, not getting larger tires.

Plan on ordering, that's how I found this thread.
