So the time has come. With all the stuff going on in my life, I was hoping that I would just delay the 1ton swap for a year, but looking at finances and other stuff I need to fund, that's not gonna happen. Not getting out of the sport, but I probably will be selling/trading in the truck and getting a DD/wheeler to consolidate everything.
So it pains me to put this up for sale, but it needs to be done. I need the money and it's just taking up space.
The buggy just needs a new front axle and tires to be wheelable, but I'm also including the 1 ton parts I've accumulated if you want to go that route.
* 93ZJ, 5.2L (185k)
* Transmission was rebuilt last summer and it hasn't seen too many miles
* Two seater, buggy-type chassis (built by SB406)
* Dovetail rear with about a 90 degree departure angle
* 4.5" RE springs
* Clayton's long arms front and rear with Clayton's tcase skid (installed by LowBudget)
* Current Rear axle is a stock 8.8 (4.10 gearing) with an aussie locker and Clayton's high clearance brackets. Truss has been beefed up and tubes are welded to the center section. Crane cover.
* The rig is not currently wheelable, but it can be loaded up onto a trailer under its own power.
I'll include the following parts to get you started:
* 5 37x12.5x17 Trxus MT Sticky Competition tires (one still has the nubbies and the rest are at about 70% tread)
* 4 17x9 Soft 8s, never used, 5" backspacing
* 78-79 HP60 complete with brakes and steering
* 85 Dana 70U complete with drum brakes
* Axles will need completely rebuilt and also get the axle brackets welded onto them.
* Rear disk brake adapters
* Complete PSC double ended full hydro system with pump and orbital adapter brackets for a ZJ (this is the same setup OverkillZJ ran)
I know I left some stuff off, but I highlighted the major points and the rest is probably just easier to discuss in person. Click here (http://www.mallcrawlin.com/forum/showthread.php?12601-93-ZJ-Robot) for the full build up thread.
Here are some quick picks to take a look at after the cage was built:
