Got a few of these in the toolbag now. Haven't taken them out on the trail yet, but they've been great around the garage and getting lugged around the junkyard. Sockets definitely stay on MUCH better than the traditional metal rails. Only downfall is the sockets are bit trickier to actually get on the rail. My 1/2" drives seem to go on much easier than the 3/8" drives, but so far I'm really digging these.

very cool, I could see something like that paying off really quick. I can never seem to keep my sockets organized...

I was at oreilly today and saw something like this, I thought it was pretty cool. Wouldn't be very useful for a "trail kit", but good for hanging on a pegboard nonetheless.

I had looked at the magnetic ones too, just didn't want a bunch of little crap in the tool bag to start sticking to it too.

I saw/used Dave's set a few weeks ago when we were getting a liftgate for the diaper - really cool stuff. They hold awesome, and you can fold it to see the side of the socket when you're searching for the right size.
