Anybody? How about $4500?

Well the time has come to part with my ZJ, I'm making room for my new 4 door Rubicon. Its a 96 with the 5.2 with 186xxx miles. This jeep is dependable as a DD or running the trails. I've had it out several times without incident. The engine is original, and in great shape. I just did a compression check and it has between 160-165 on every hole. It does leak a little oil from the rear main, nothing really bad. It has a KNN FIPK version 2, Fastman larger TB, Mopar M1 intake manifold, Kolak 3 inch exhaust with FM 70, MSD coil and wires with new plugs, new fuel filter, all new fluids throughout the whole jeep, , a fresh 180 thermostat with a brand new Griffin radiator and fan clutch. There has been a lot of maintenance on this thing by the PO and myself. I also have a taurus fan that will go with it, just needs a good controller.

The 249 was swapped for a 242 from a 99 XJ and only has about 90k miles total on it. The 44re was replaced with a reman unit around 150k and has an aftermarket cooler. The stock cooler is now for the power steering.

The axles have been totally rebuilt maybe 10k ago. 4.56 Yukon gears, detroit trutrac in the front, abs and ujoint equipped shafts in the D30. The rear driveshaft has been lengthened, and the front is aftermarket with 3 inches of travel, double cardan and regular ujoint at the axle.

The suspension lift is all rubicon express. 3.5 inch springs in the rear and 4.5 ones in the front. I also have 2 inch spacers on them and the front sits just a little higher than the back. It used to have a bad raked stance. 4 brand new bilstein 5100 shocks with 500 miles. All 8 adjustable short arms, adjustable track bars front and rear, extended rear sway bar links, JKS discos on the front, and an OME steering stabalizer.

Brakes are power slot rotors with EBC green pads, and RE extended SS lines front and rear. They stop very well and don't warp like the stock junk. I run 1.25 inch wheel spacers and 15x7 wheels from a late model ford ranger. They combine for 3.5 inch backspacing. The tires are near new 32x11.50 interco SSRs with about 4k miles on them. They are great on and off road. They measure 32.6 OD and stuff very well.

For skids it has the stock gas tank unit, KOR crossmember/tcase skid, and AJs off road super rails. They all work great. It also have one of the Zacatal Roof racks with a spare tire mount, high lift mount, 6 light tabs, and a shovel mount. The front has Rustys Off road tow hook kit, and the rear has a class 3 hidden hitch.

The stereo is a nice cd/mp3 head unit with all new speakers and aftermarket amp under the rear seat. It sounds great. The interior is very clean for the age of the jeep, it has Husky floor liners front to back and minimal wear on the seats.

The bad, the oil leak I already mentioned which is very livable, missing drivers side fog light, some scratches and two small dents, the ac is not as cold as it should be, probably needs recharged, and the heated seat only works on the passenger side (probably a broken wire under the leather cover). I'm sure there is stuff I forgot so email me steve831kostka@yahoo.com My cell is 3 1 8 2 9 9 9 8 2 8. The jeep still has insurance and a plate so it can be driven, etc. Down to $5000 obo! WILL TAKE $4000 without the wheels and tires. You can keep the spacers so any 5x4.5 wheel will fit with 31, 33, or 35s.
