Alright, I fixed an oil leak on my '94 Dodge. Drove it about 1200 miles over the weekend and it looks like my leak is done. Now I am left with the evidence of the PO lack of care for and oil leak and the mess it makes. I have already pressure washed the engine bay, but the thick grimey oil and dirt mix just won't budge. You guys know of any real good diesel engine degreasers?

On a side note I did get (hand calculated) 21 mpg. Not too bad for a dually with a four wheeler/tools in the bed. It sure beats hooking a trailer to the ZJ and getting 12 mpg and stopping for fuel 2 or 3 times!

Buy a gallon of your favorite degreaser... Simple Green, Purple Power, Greased Lighting, Krud Kutter, etc. Put the degreaser in a garden sprayer and have at it.

when i worked at ford we used brake cleaner. but then again it was free so we used like 4 or 5 cans to get that shit off. wal-mart sells cheap engine degreaser. i used it when i had my oil leak on my zj worked ok with alittle scrubing too.

B52, if you can find it. It is made by Hollander.
