I've decided to hopefully take on another project, so this one has to go first. It's a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 147k on the clock. There's a lot of history to this jeep.

It started out as a bone stock Laredo 2wd. I originally swapped in an aw4, a 231, and a hp30. I put a couple months of road miles on it with no issues, and then took it to URE and the torque converter sheered off internally. Dropped the transmission and it sat at my parents for 2 years. I got it back on the road by swapping in a 1994 42re (the stock transmission). Since then I've been working out kinks that have come up including a new starter. I have also replaced the governors in the transmission. I did a fluid and filter swap on the tranny at the same time.

Aftermarket parts include:
4.5 RE coils all around
Superride RE lower control arms up front
-the hp30 is adjusted frame side and the lp30 is axle side, so these arms are how I aligned the axle
Novak 231 shifter kit
hp30
RE shocks all around
extended SS brake lines up front
JKS adjustable track bars front and rear
32 MT/R's on Cragar steelies
JKS quick disconnects up front
I've also trimmed the front fenders and rhino lined the lower panels
Brand new factory torque converter when I swapped in the 42re
CB with a 4 foot antenna
Reese Class IV hitch with the correct wiring harness

The bad:
I put my elbow into the windshield and spider cracked it across. The windshield doesn't leak and passed through inspection a couple weeks ago
The cat is bad or the o2 sensor is, and is throwing a code after that last flash at the dealership
AC compressor is shot
The trans acted up the last time I drove it. I stopped and tried to accelerate and it was stuck like the parking brake was seized. I went back an hour later to drive it and it drove fine. I'll throw in a new oil pump and a hd torque converter with under 10k on it for a 1996 42re if it goes for a reasonable price.

My price is starting at $2800. I know it seems high, the but the body and jeep overall is in great condition. I've also got several grand worth of parts on the jeep. The jeep has lower miles and it shows.

Here's a couple albums of pictures from the buildup:
