View Full Version : 2009 GSMW Who's going?

The reason I'm asking is, that i don't want to load the rig up and haul it 1100 miles for a couple days if there is just going to be 2 of us there. I would love to see a good turn out. I know that half of the people that say they are coming will back out, but I'd still like to know how many are going.

I was there last two years. Going this year & bringing 1 maybe 2 other rigs. Jeremy

I was there the last 2 years as well. I'll be there with at least one other rig.

May or may not be there at this point. If I do come it will most likely be with 2 others.

As I'm on furlow, it's unlikely that I'll be there again this year:smt093.

Have fun guys.

Hey Jeremy, I saw that you put a cage in your rig. Looks good. I keep putting it off because I want to get in another trip and building a cage is not cheap. Not the best planned idea, cause I know how important they are. I now have a good capable rig and unable to really push it to it's limits because of the "no cage" issue. I just bought a front 60, but I think it will go on the back burner until I get the cage done. We wheeled together a couple of years ago. Glad we will get to do it again.

There is a small possibility of me making this one since i missed going out last week due to the fact the rig wasn't finished. I'll let you all know when the date gets a little closer.

3 of us for sure?

Someone please let me know what's going down. I really don't want to pull the jeep that far for no one to show up. I have places a lot closer to wheel down here.

Looks like its going to be a low turnout. May run at Redbird instead... much closer.

Are you kidding? There will most definitely be at least five, definitely more than that.

So load it up!

No, I was most definitely not kidding. 1100 mile round trip is a long way when I can wheel at about 6 other places that are closer. i just wanted to make sure that it was going to be worth while to travel that far.

Loading up tommorow.

Plan on using CB channel 16, with channel 26 as a back up.
We can always change it once we all get grouped together.

Park opens at 900AM EST
Let's try to be ready and meet up by 830AM to 845AM.

Thanks. I had to get on the go pedal a little more than I thought. Don't feel bad I lost everyone several times. We need to be a little more organized next year. Some of this was my fault, my radio was flaky all weekend.
