If nobody else submits their rig still tonight, Maxx wins by default, and this might be the end of the RotM.

Not sure if this meets the rules. But we can't have someone win by default. That is not the spirit of MC.

Dave I don't know if i's an insufficient interest or if you are just tired of doing the ROTM... I know it's a lot of work.

At the risk of sounding cocky, the way it's structured, ROTM encourages the guys with a good chance of winning to enter early to ward off potential contenders. The thought process is that "I know my rig has a good chance, so I'll enter first and scare off potential challengers with 'lesser' rigs." Anonomous entry (such as by PM) would solve that issue. Again I know it's more work, but just a suggestion.

or each month have a different style rig to compete. Say one month a chopped rigs. the next month only long armed rigs. Then maybe after that best to show rigs then a most trashed month. this way every month a different group can compete making things interesting. Also this allows rigs that cross over to compete more then one month in a row if they fall under the guide lines for that month.

The rule that you can only enter once in a twelve month period doesn't help either. I can see the winners limited to once every twelve but not entrants that don't win.

Like Cam said, when a very built rig enters first why would a lesser built rig on 33's enter?

I like Slim's idea. A different theme each month.

Don't end ROTM!

I just won modified rig of the month on another board. During submissions all the entrants were gathered in a hidden forum and that entrant could see their submission only. This eliminates the baddest rigs of entering early and the not so bad rigs from waiting to see how theirs stacked up against the competition.

Then they were compiled to one thread with a poll at the start open to all members.

I second cams suggestion w/ anonomous entries.

I really like ROTM, if nothing else it is a great place to see pictures along with the rig details. I would enter my rig, but I just don't think it is up to snuff with all of the rigs on long arms and 35s.
