I don't think you can classify that 70 as being "shave". That's fucking "sliced"! :)

Are you keeping the "Frenched" part in a single shear config, or are you going to cover it and make it double shear?
Your reinforcing looks strong, but I don't think the grade 8 in a single shear would be enough.

I really like the frenched spring mounts. I don't think I've ever seen a 70 "shaved" that much! What tires is this one getting?

Well there is deffinatly some room to improve. I have only been welding/fabricatig/wheeling for about 5 years. I am 20 years old. I grew up in a racing family so I am not a mechanical retard. When I was 15 I got my first job wrenching and thats when it all starded. Four years later I live 500 miles from my home town running a small two man shop here in Arkansas about 5 miles from one of the most well known off road parks in the country.
