Ah yes milemarker remotes. What a disaster. In the future, just remove the remote and use a jumper wire or paperclip in the solenoid box plug to control the winch. Not ideal but neither is wheeling by yourself is it? ;)

well i was not by my self, at least not in the whole place, but i did went by my self through that trail and that is when i broke it.
