hi everyone.
i want to put a 4" sus lift on my 4x2 wj. what i was wondering is that if i wanted to could i put 2" bb on it aswell to make it 6"s total. would i need any extra/different parts to make it work if possible.
this rig if for street only. maybe a curb or two. lol. i have another rig for the trails.

not a problem to run spacers on top, but id suggest stacking 3 2" spacers per corner and forget the expensive lift kit, it is not needed on a 2wd WJ.

oh yeah welcome to MallCrawlin!!!

Lift blocks will save you money on the rear axle too. You can get them at 4Wheel Parts.

i thought about doing that but i drive kinda rough and i would be worried about them becoming uncompressed and fuckin my day up.
i found a 4 in kit thats only 750 shipped and i can do all the lifting myself. its really easy when you have a vehicle lift available to you and all my tools

nah man lift kits only work well off road on the street you want something more solid, wouldn't want it coming off and hurting someone right?

defiantly go with one of the above two suggestions

would i be able to stack 3 2" spacers and have them hold up with the way i drive. i have a v8 and i use it and its only going to get faster.

lift + fast = darwin at work.

I had a ZJ on 35's with 6" of lift at 110, but I wouldn't advise it.

and i do know that lift kits work well on the road cause not too long ago i had a 01 tj with 6"s and i drove it all the time on the road and it worked fine. i built it to be a rock krawler. and it did its job off road.

yeah man but thats a tj and ur talking about a wj, world of diffrence, the wj has a much longer wheel base and is more of a car than the tj, does not fair well

What kit are you thinking about getting? I'd advise against a body lift. On a TJ it'll work and save you money, but on a WJ the poly bushings wear our and cause, in some cases, extreme body roll and misalignment of steering components. Although a cheap way to lift it and save money... do it once and do it right.

well im going to lift it my way. i dont foresee a problem wiht it now and if something arises during installation ill order different parts if need be. i know the managers at a 4x4 shop in my city so ill get them for cost. and if it really comes down to it i dont really need the extra 2 inches ill just stay with the 4 inches which will clear 305/50/r20.
