I ask this because there isn't much room to mount a powerhorn in the front. I just recently finished hooking my cb and I've always wanted to run a PA. Just wondering if anybody on here has a clever place or something small that would work in a ZJ? I've looked on ebay and a couple other places, and found this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95953

i cut part of the side of the pa speaker off and it fit really nicely behind the driver side headlight

I have this mounted inside the plastic fascia in my bumper.

I cut most of the plastic shell off of it so that it would fit (since it's about 7"x11"), and mounted it right under the stock horns. It's not visible, hella loud, and since i have the opening pointing into the closed part of the bumper, it doesn't get too dirty.

I put it right near my grill behind the drivers side head light. Since i removed the stock air intake box ive had room for the PA, air horn, and charcoal canister.

I had mine mounted where the charcoal canister was until I cut that bumper section off. Now I'm trying to find a place to mount it inside the engine bay. I'm probably gonna put it where the intake used to be along with the charcoal canister once I can install Turbo City's intake.

I have one of these mounted under the passanger side headlight tucked into my TrailReady bumper.

I love it. It is not connected to my CB as mine did not have a PA option, it is connected to an electronic air horn/PA that I tied into the horn ring also and ditched the factory horn. The Whelen unit is mounted under the rear seat and the mic. is mounted to the side of the tranny housing so it is within easy reach.

Trust me I did not spend the close to $200 on the speaker. I got the speaker and the electronic air horn for maybe $200 total off ebay YEARS ago (brand new though from a dealer), got a few other things from him also and there are some more "electroinics" I want to get in the future but we will see.

I have my PA hooked up on my roof right between my lights, its black so it blends in good.

Here is a shot of it.

I mounted mine on the firewall next to the brake booster behind the washer bottle. I know its not the best spot but its protected and out of the way

I've got one....can't remember exactly where it's mounted at the moment though. I'll have to take a peek as I've moved it around a few times.

Try out that one. It's loud as hell, just needs to be hacked down to fit into the bumper.

Just curious...what do you all use PA's for?
Who the heck are you talking to and why?

there is always someone without a PA or when your spotter is out side. there are dozens of times that its great, not to mention when there are ugly people on the side of the road, always fun to let them know
