I've had this up on some other forums, figure I'd throw it up on here too since I'd be willing to trader it on a 5.9 or 97-98 v8 plus some cashes.

This Jeep has absolutely zero rust on the frame, and only minimal surface rust in a few spots on the body. There only thing that does not work on this Jeep is the odometer. According to the previous owner, the chassis has around 120k on it and the v8 drivetrain has been in for about 15k. I’ve put less than 500 miles on it. All the gauges work, all lights including the dimmer work, the emergency brake works, wipers, defrost, blower are all functional. I wasn’t even planning on selling it for at least a few years, but I had some changes come up and I’ve got a few large bills rolling my way and have to let it go. The V8/sm420/D300 drivetrain is very hard to find and extremely expensive to build correctly. It’s a blast to drive around….I’ve been driving it to work on nice days; it runs out on the interstate very nicely up to 60-70 mph. Even in the hot GA summers sitting in traffic, the 360 never climbs past 200 degrees. I wouldn’t hesitate to hop in and drive it across the country tomorrow. I put in the Grant wheel and quick disco in as a theft prevention measure…just park it, shut it off, and pop the wheel off and take it inside with you. Also, being an 83, it doesn’t require an inspection or emissions testing in GA. The yearly property tax is $20, and I have it insured for just at $20 a month. It is a very low cost vehicle to operate, and an absolute joy to drive. Pick it up now just in time for some open top V8 cruising this fall!

This is a pretty solid starting platform for a rockcrawler....its mechanically 100% with a v8, huge 1st gear ratio and a dana300. The hood clearcoat is flaking, there are chips in other places. Perfect starting point to throw it on some tons and beat it up. OR...you could go the other direction, strip and repaint it, and you've got a show quality CJ with a helluva drivetrain.

It has a towbar and magnetic tow lights. You can pull it behind a truck easily.

PM me, or email me at zj96sc at gmail.com

I'll meet throughout the ATL/Columbia/Charlotte triangle if it sells for the asking price.

I'll trade for a 5.9 or 97-98 v8 plus some cashes.

new price, $5800 OBO

new price as of 10/29, I finally signed a lease to move, and I will no longer have a place to keep the CJ. Gotta sell it by Nov. 15. First $4800 takes it away. Helluva deal
