I picked up a new to me trailer saturday. 18ft long, solid metal deck, tandem dexter 3500 lb axles with decent tires. I added a brake breakaway kit, and some more lights, but there is only brakes on 1 of the axles, i towed it with the ZJ on it today to get some final stuffed wrapped up on it and it did ok stopping.....should i go ahead and add brakes to the 2nd axle..i have heard some folks say it will make it jack knife more but to be honest i dont know....any ideas?

You got an adjustable brake controller?

It's a good idea. Some states even require brakes on both axles.

tekonisha voyager...i think its a proportional and not a timed delay unit.....

i have brakes on 1 axle now, and the controller is hooked up and i am guessing its adjustable since i can adjust the level and power settings on the side if thats what your asking?
