As much as I hate it, the time has come to part out the jeep. It has been a dependable rig that over the last 5 years has enabled me to meet a lot of great people, develop some mechanical skills, and have a good time outdoors. The teardown will begin in a couple of weeks so I want to get this posted up so everyone can see what is available (aka vultures :D ). For all of the larger items (bumpers, seats, etc) I would prefer a local seller but if not I will gladly ship on your dime. All parts are in great condition unless otherwise noted and all prices listed are OR BEST OFFER. I’ll start off with the exterior.
Carolina Rock Shop front bumper. This thing is super beefy, Andy at CRS does great work and this is one of his first ZJ creations. It is mostly ¼” and is unstoppable. It mounts where the stock tow hook brackets mount on the ZJ. Price is $350

custom rear bumper/tire carrier This bumper has A LOT of man hours invested in it and the work shows. The tire carrier will hold any 5x4.5bp tire/wheel. It also is mostly ¼” and mounts where the stock hitch mounts. Price is $650

Kevin’s Radiator support This thing is a must if you wheel your ZJ. I crushed my stock rad support at Tellico (I blame Cam!) and this was a great replacement. Very beefy. Price is $90

Low profile 5.9 roof rack/crossrailsThis is just a good cosmetic and purposeful mod if you have the stock roof rack.

35” BFG M/T’s on 15x8 wheels These tires have great tread left, at least 70%. They are on black rockcrawler wheels with 4” backspacing. They have a couple cuts from where I rubbed them on my fender but no chunks missing. All wear is even and they are well-balanced. Price is $550 for all 4.

Spare 33” BFG m/t on 15x8 wheel I was going to use this as my spare but never needed to. It has 95% tread. The wheel is a black rockcrawler with 4” backspacing. $100

All body panels, hood, doors, rear 5.9 hatch with NO RUST Well I was pretty easy on the body. Of course the fenders have been trimmed and the rear driver door is a little beaten but the rest looks great. All glass is intact. Make some reasonable offers, and this is pickup only.

headlights, clear corners, tail lights These also are in great shape. Bulbs are included. Headlights are $25 for the pair, clear corners are SOLD, tails are $45 and make an offer on turn signals.

Ok, now onto suspension.
Claytons 4-link longarms This was the best mod I made to my ZJ hands down. The ride is better than stock and the construction is super beefy. I paid $1700 for the kit not too long ago and it probably has 5K miles on it if that, this wasn’t my daily driver. Included are the arms (4) with joints, crossmember, frame stiffeners (subframe), front and rear upper brackets, and all of the hardware needed to install. You will need to get a rear truss from clayton but they are no more than $50. Price is $1000 .

Rock Control Offroad Swaybar This was another awesome upgrade to the jeep. It is similar to Currie’s anti-rock. The arms have been shortened a bit and holes punched in them so they are now adjustable. I will also include the brackets so you can just weld them onto the front of your ZJ. Included are the endlinks, aluminum (bling) arms, swaybar, and hardware. $300

Rubicon Express springs/Budget boost/Doetsch Tech shocks So these have been on the rig for awhile now. They are 4.5” RE springs, with a 2” budget boost. They are in good shape but dirty. The shocks are DT3000’s and feel fine although they may need new bushings. The 4 springs are $100 and the 4 budget boost pucks are $65. Make an offer on the shocks.

DRIVETRAIN:
4.0L motor/42RE trans/ NV242 transfer case Plenty of life left in the 4.0 as it only has 120k miles on it and has been maintained meticulously. Comes with a Optima Red Top, new exhaust manifold, homebrew intake, newish ignition, but otherwise stock. THE A/C WORKS GREAT! No leaks from the rear main, valve cover, head gasket, or anywhere else. It is solid, as are most 4.0’s. $300 for it all
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/engine.jpg
The trans also has 120k miles on it and is in decent shape. It’s had a fluid/filter change, but that’s about it. It used to slip when it was cold and when I was still running 3.73’s. With the 4.56’s it seems fine now though. $100
The transfer case is as smooth as ever and has no slop in it. It engages perfectly and the low-range works great. The NV242 consists of 2wd, full time 4wd, 4HI, and 4LO. It comes with the shifter linkage and everything you need to install into your rig. $200.
Front HP30 axle My front axle was built at around 110,000 miles so it has about 10k miles on it. It has Yukon 4.56 gears on an open diff, Big Daddy Offroad steering, Old Man Emu steering stabilizer, new tie rod ends, new MOOG balljoints, and large 760x u-jointed shafts with good unit bearings. It handled my 35’s with ease. Price is $600.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/longarms/IMG_2028.jpg
Rear 8.8 axle This came from a 2002 Mountaineer and was completely overhauled. New bearings, seals, races, Yukon 4.56 gears on an open diff, Blue Torch Fab diff cover, Claytons 4-link truss, driveshaft adapter, new calipers/pads/rotors, intact e-brake assembly, etc. This is a great upgrade for the jeep people with a D35. Price is $650

Front and rear driveshafts Would make a great trail spare, they are perfectly balanced. $40 and $25 respectively
INTERIOR
Black leather power adjustable heated seats I got these from a limited ZJ and they are in great condition. The fronts look better than the rear. The rear has a few blemishes but the front is perfect. They were conditioned regularly and the heat seaters still work. This is a great upgrade if you have the crappy cloth seats. $250 for the entire set.

Pioneer CD player This is a DEH-6800 I believe? This has been my favorite head unit by far. It plays MP3 cd’s, has satellite radio capability, and cool display options. It comes with the installation kit, and the dash pieces to install into a 1.5DIN receiver. Also includes a remote. I paid $300 not too long ago. $120
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/S5000842.jpg
Cobra CB/antenna/mount This is a great little CB that I used many times. It comes with a small loudspeaker (probably 3x3x3 inches), the antenna, and the mount to put it on your trunk/hood/whatever. $80 for all of it.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/My%20junkers/cb.jpg
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/uwharrie/UNF5.jpg
Infinity 6.5” speakers These sound great. I have only one pair. They were not used much as I didn’t listen to music in the jeep (exhaust was way too loud). They are yours for $40
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/uwharrie/infinity.jpg
2 gauge a-pillar pod What else can I say? It is charcoal in color. SOLD without the gauge and with the AutoMeter transmission temp gauge.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a349/Puma297/128_2879.jpg
5.9 leather door panels These are a nice plush addition to any ZJ. They were treated with leather conditioner and very well taken care of. SOLD for the set of 4.

crack free steering wheel I think I may have one of the last ZJ wheels in existence that is not worn to shreds. It comes with the airbag and is in great shape. $50 See above pic.
anything else I have every switch that still works, the carpet is in good condition, the headliner is dirty but not sagging, overhead console, dash pieces, whatever you could possibly need.
Anything else you can think of, inside or out, it all must go, down to every grab handle, or miscellaneous piece you can think of. Let my rig be a part of yours, let’s keep these Frankenstein jeeps running forever! Thanks for reading and if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
