So after reading up on the description of the trails I picked for GSW I'm wondering if I'm being too conservative. Right now I'm signed up for Elephant Hill, Kane Creek and Klondike. My 5.2L ZJ is set up with the following:

3-4"-ish lift on short arms, adjustable track bars
HP D30 (open), D44A w/ rebuilt LSD, 4.10's
33x10.50 SS TSL's
NP 242 with skid plate
high clearance steel bumpers, custom radiator support (copy of kevin's)
Rocker sliders, Gas tank skid
Other stuff like front sway disco's, diff guard and extended brake lines

I've also got spare axle shafts front and rear, plus spare drive shafts front and rear. All that said, I'm wondering if I should opt for the difficult trails rather than moderate. I think the biggest drawback of my rig is the lack of lockers.

You can do Poison Spider, Cliff Hanger, Gold Bar Rim.

Keep Elephant Hill. It's a fun trail & the lookout over the rivers coming together @ the end is fantastic! Don't forget to stop & news Parper Rock on the way back out.

Cliffhanger would definitely give you a chance to push your rig a little. I'm leading Cliffhanger and based on the stats you've got there I wouldn't be worried at all about you being on the trail. Putz ran it last year in his WJ with 32's and a BB and got through it just fine. I've done it countless times on 33's as well.

You'd be fine on the other trails Scott mentioned as well. Klondike Bluffs and Tower Arch are easier trails with a couple spots to play, but very scenic, and you get to see some arches off the main path that most don't get to see.

Here's the photos from a EH run a few years ago Ted.

You west coasters are so spoiled!

So do full widths have trouble with this "crack", or is there more room there than it looks?

Ted, I've seen your rig, and you'd be fine on the trails that Scott mentioned. Hell, you'd be gravy on the trails I'm running - Cliffhanger, Hell's Revenge.

Poison Spider's a helluva good time, Gold Bar Rim is great too.

As far as Cliffhanger goes, Dave is one of, if not the best spotter I've ever had.

Sound like switching to Cliff Hanger for Friday is doable maybe and Hell's Revenge on Saturday. I think I'll stick with Klondike on Sunday. I'd rather not have to be scrambling to make repairs on sunday before hitting the road home ;)

Do I need to make the change on the registration page now or can I just figure it out the day of?

You can figure it out the day of. The trail selection on the rego site is just to give the planners an idea of how much interest is in each trail.

It's wide enough for full widths. I'm sure plenty of full size trucks have been through there over the year.
