planning on running 9lbs at the track and 6-7 on the street. regulating boost threw my rev limiter. also got meth. anyone got a problem with 9lbs on stock block. thinking about getting valve springs and pushrods for cheap insurance.

my money says you will not find a single person on here that has a 5.2 supercharger. jeepsunlimited.com has a speed freaks section that might suit you better, this is pretty much a offroading specific website that hardly anyone goes into engine performance on.

why dont you put a lift and tires on insted, you'll have more fun, and you'll spend less money on gas

A lifted blown ZJ would be far cooler then just a lifted ZJ.
How do you know his truck isn't lifted?

its not, i have two ZJs one a 93 with the 5.2 thats got a killer sound system and gettin the blower, its just for the street and towing. my other is a 96 with the 4.0 for offroad, in the middle of puttin new lift on now, currently got 6.5 inches on 33s.

my last zj was a 95 with a 5.2 with the same super charger kit, i also had a 5.9 rt heads and cam in it. I think it was a stronger motor before it was blown/forced, just with the motor modifications. But i did re gear it to 4.56 axles ratios at the same time. Before you think of push rods and springs think of miles on jeep and what will break first. Trust me boost will help close the valves, push rods should be checked for wear before replacement. Good luck with it it is still a strong kit that you will be happy with until you see how fuel miles drop. Wish i still had my old zj that blower just screams steal me, so some asshole did!!!

damn somone stole your blower!? i would kick some A** if i ever found them. dont got any parts from it lyin around do u? like fuse box and coil relocation bracket. ill have to look into some heads for it. how much boost did u run cause the zj kit comes with the V-1 blower, i got the V-2 with a 8-9lb pully, thinkin of just setting the rev limiter on the crane ignition so i wont make peak boost unless im at the track. i got meth too so it will cool the AIT
