The guy that runs the camp grounds said electical fire started under the dash, it had 4-5 used fire extinguishers in the back. Gas tank exploded on it as well. The guy also said that they left their wallets and shit in the dash and didnt get them out...oh and he said the worst part was they just bought that rig less than a week before

DAMN...I didn't hear about the rig that caught fire! That sucks.

What trails did you run? Looks like Corum in most of the pics. What else? And where was the new rubbi stuck?

We had a good trip...and the only break we had in my group was 1 axle shaft. Least amount of breakage we've had in our group in a long time. It was nice! Could have dealt with less rain but it wasn't bad all things considered.

Is that a front 9" I see in that red XJ? :D

yes front 9 in. We ran "4" on saturday it was so crowded and one of the guys we wheel with got to be the guide. We made it challenging though, after he took those guys back to camp we ran some of the camp 8 trail, the one with the 2 big boulders and then the rock garden right after. Sunday was corum and the boulder trail backwards. I have more pics those are just from my cell phone

I've got up boulder half way and really wanted to run the whole thing this trip but it was so wet I wasn't sure how it was going to be so we passed it. Coming down it would probably be a bit easier in spots than going up it though. It's got a ton of bypasses on it but it you're bypassing everything its no since in running it so we opted to run it on a dry day.

Preppi, how did you guys make out sunday, looked like you became a trail guide for the day, I'd imagine it was better then sat when we followed that idiot. Did you ask for your money back:D . I got the jeep loaded on the trailer, needed to move it up a few inches and she wouldn't start had to push it. Turns out the cam sensor went bad.

Yeah, Sunday turned out like the last half of saturday did where we ran what we wanted and I lead the group. We had a good time...that's what matters I guess. But there has been another trip or two in the past where I've guided. I don't mind it really but don't want to pay and guide everytime. Even though most of our guides don't, I'd like to have a winch before I do start guiding a lot b/c I think a true guide should.

Of course most guides wouldn't be running thornbirds on an open explorer either like ours did saturday morning. :)

cool to see some pics, I was there with a buddy in a stretched white CJ5 on 1 tons/40's. We came in around 3:30 sat. after getting soaked. <no top/doors/windshield> When we woke up & saw the sky & it was 50 deg., we packed up headed for home.

So........you didn't wheel at all? If you got there at 3:30pm most of the runs are wrapping up by then. Or was it 3:30 in the morning that you got there?
