Ok, so I've got the spacers for the unit hubs and all the stuff to do the swap, my question is... can I reuse my stock steering? It works fine for dd duty, I just want some better braking... My other option is the WJ steering... could I use it.

yes, you use the stock steering.

sure i don't see why not. And your going to need to space out the brake caliper bracket 1/4" .

i am pretty sure that the WJ steering would be a little long for the zj

x2. The WJ front axle is wider by about 4" isn't it?

lol, it's my dd, I guess this could go in the regular tech section because it could pertain to off-road too...

BLK97 - thanks for saying something... common sense would tell ya that, although honestly I never gave it a thought.

I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. I only said it because I am actually in the middle of doing it myself. Its all going on this week and I did a mock up and the caliper didn't fit right. And again with the spacers I got longer bolts, because 3 1/2 threads of engage doesn't sit nice with me.
