dont know if anyone else has seen this, guy gets sucked into a lathe(sp) and ends up missing everything from the sholders up. if you have a week stomach dont look, AT ALL.

2 summers ago, when I was working on the plant floor still, we had a guy who got his shirt sleeve caught in a big grinding wheel. It was ugly but he lived.

damn, i guess it only takes a second of not paying attention. Had a guy last year that went to wipe some oil off the deck of the lawn mower with a rag while the blades were on. The corner of the rag got sucked under the deck. To make a long story short he has a hard time giving people the finger now.

reminds me of the aftermath of a guy at my dad's old sheetmetal fabrication/ prototyping shop that decided to see what was jamming a 60 ton press brake while it was still on... when he stuck his head in the brake to take a look he stepped on the switch.... you can quess what happened; at least that was quick - looks like that lathe was spinning pretty fast, but i'd bet it took long enough to hurt
