Install was very straight forward...
I chose to throw my truck up on my lift rather than do it on the ground, but it could be done fairly easy on the ground as well...

Remove old (new LOL) tank... fair comparison against old one...
FWIW, removing the Drive shaft at the rear Axle creates lots of working space.

Looking from Driver Rear wheel well...

Driver side, the tank hangs 3" or so below frame...

Thats a big ass gas tank.

It's going to suck filling it, but will be nice getting a extra 25gallons before stopping. Looks good

Nah, you'll get more like 900-1000 at most out of a whole tank. No way you are getting 21mpg in that truck.

A 2wd reg cab 5 speed 1st gen can do it, but these newer trucks can't.

Yeah the fuel bill is up there, but it works out in the end anyhow. It costs me close to $300 to fill my truck.

You just love to argue.

I am indeed getting 21mpg, ever since I swapped in the Diablo Predator Programmer ! Oh yeah... :finga:
I was getting 18ish before the chip.

Are you figuring it out by hand? That is the 5.9L right?

That overhead calcuator isn't accurate stock, and certainly won't be with any power adder. Power adders usually don't increase your fuel mileage by much if they do at all. More power means more fuel.

Nice writeup.
Don't most gas stations have maximums on CC charges for fuel? Not the larger truck stops, but convenience store types?
How do you get around that?

They do, usually $75... My truck has a 46 gallon tank, it's a PITA doing two transactions some times, kinda pisses me off.
