In need of a new track bar for my XJ, since I plan to do more lift I was going to get the RE track bar mount and the HD track bar. But a friend keeps having problems with his HD track bar from RE. The joints wear out insanely fast

any other recommendations?

does clayton sell a trackbar set up for the xj like the zj one (or are they the same)? it seems to be about as beef as you can get in a kit.

x2

Put his TBC on 4 different ZJ's and XJ's now, all with great results.

The RE TB and bracket you were talking about goes for about $260 total. Plus that $270 for KOR's TB conversion includes the core charge for the bracket. Send back your old bracket after the install and he will send you a check. Don't know how much it is though. I'd go with Kevin's.

Well my secret supplier quoted me a price of 220 ish

but I didn't see the core charge included in there

So you would recommend the jks setup over the RE?

Ehh, I was reading some fine print, only his track bar and bracket will work together

My bad, the $30 core charge is applied on top of the $270, so it would be $270 after you send the bracket back. I haven't used either of these TB's but I would use the KOR version over the RE because of the bushings and it seems to be a better unit overall. The bushings would last longer than the RE flex joint. The first time you have to rebuild that flex joint you're already spending more money than you would have if you bought the KOR version.

Don't bitch about the price. As we all know you get what you pay for. If you buy the RE one you will hate it (like I did) and you will buy the KOR one anyway (like I did) and you will be much happier with it (like I was) b/c it is a better product.

Ehh well I got the RE setup for Christmas. Not gonna complain. I guess I will see how well it holds up with me behind the wheel
