Bit the bullet... Just got a 99 ex cab long bed 1 ton dually ram 3500. its a 4wd, and a 5 speed too :D . I paid 17... May seem steep, but it came with a blue chip fuel box, 4'' turbo back, 3 pc pulse flow manifold, new injection pump, new lift pump, 5th gear nut fixed, track-bar updated to 03+ style, new clutch, new door skins (i live in enw england, and 2nd gen ram by now has no door bottoms left lol), annndddd, only 69,000 miles, barely broken in. Its jet black and debadged too. They guy towed a 53 foot enclosed gooseneck from here to Kentucky with a alcohol 7 second lime green 82 C10, but it was his dd too, he drove it from his heated garage, 4 miles down the troad to another heated garage, and it was washed without fail every saturday, and they guy had records of everything, even tho he did 100% of the work beucase hes a cummins certified tech. Shes basically brand new. Ill get a picture up asap, preferably with the ZJ on my trailer sitting on jackstands on the trailer without anything but the engine n tranny, or should i wait and put it in when its got the 60's? :flipoff2:

Sweet deal!!!

I paid $20K for my fully loaded, stock '01 3500 4x4 last year with 250,000kms and that was a pretty good deal. Dodge diesels sell for a premium here in Alberta.

Since I got it I chipped it, Eadge w/Attitude, added RV275 injectors, and did the TC and valve body in the tranny. Went from Calgary AB to Moab Ut last May twoing the XJ on a trailer. Did 85mph with no problem at all.

those are sweet trucks, one of my good friends who runs a landscape business has it as his DD bought it new.. got about 170K now and runs like a champ. And thats with towing a 5th wheel trailer with a bobcat and 2 mowers all around raleigh 4 days a week. He says its been cheap to run.. surprisingly good gas mileage. comfortable too I've ridden 4+ hours each way in it several times for motocross races
