This came out of a ford 9". That's all I can tell you. I'm thinking detroit? Let me know what you guys think plz.

Looks exactly like the stock open carrier that that guy on Extreme 4x4 (the show on Spike TV) took out of the 9inch and welded up for there cheap jeep project. He unbolted the ring gear and pulled it apart some how and welded the spider gears inside. The first thing that I thought when he pulled it out of the third is that they scoured an axle with a locker from the junk yard and then he started welding the spider gears. But that is what I think it is, try and pull the ring gear and see if you can get to the spider gears. Good luck and maybe I am wrong but this is my take on it.

That's the stock carrier for the Ford 9's.

i think its som type of limited slip or trac lock , i dont think its an open carrier
