Did some organizing of the garage and got some more room in there now, so it's time for more tools! I've got a 220 welder, chop saw, grinders, drill press, etc, already.

Tube bender will happen eventually, probably after we move and get a bigger shop though.

Already planning on making a shop cart that doubles as an axle stand.

Thinking parts washer, shop press, would love a metal bandsaw but they're $$$$$.

Any other ideas?

Torch, plasma, tool box

Start investing in more "speciality" tools. I have some stuff I have used maybe 1 time, but that 1 time paid for the tool since nothing else would have worked.

Got the tool box too. Plasma is also $$$$$ for a good one, I'm thinkin stuff for a couple hundred, not $500+++

The DivTech plasma they are selling on Pirate seem to be working out pretty good and the price isn't bad at all.

Do you have an air compressor?

If I had the room and the $$ I would have a shop press. I have had to run over to the local garage, 4x4 shop etc. too many times just to have them throw something silly in the press.

Had the compressor for a while now, I've got most of the basics down.

I'm thinking shop press . . . .

Nope. That won't do. Because when I visit, I'll just give you another to remember me by!

Press or parts washer.

Parts washer would be awesome, but not having a press on Sundays when your working on something sucks. Seems the only day of the week that you need a press is always Sunday.

Sounds to me like some unnamed person that put a hole in your wall should give you THEIR shop press or parts washer. On the other hand, imagine how convenient a plasma cutter would be, but a torch is just as good on a budget.

I suggest a shop press, parts washer and get a portable band saw. I really like my portable for cutting on and off of the Jeep. Very fast and clean cuts. Your chop saw can do the accurate miters and the portable can do the rest.

I am in the midst of re-orging my new garage. Selling some of the large wood power tools and getting some more compact units to make room for my Jeep and Ford projects.
