View Full Version : Last Time Buy For D44a Aussie Locker

AussieLocker

The price for the short run of XD14450 Aussie Lockers is $ 287.99 ( a $ 28.00 premium). We have simply passed through the costs Australia manufacturing charged us for amortizing the set up costs over fewer lockers. If you want in on this Last Time Buy opportunity you need to place your order now at www.aussielocker.com (http://www.aussielocker.com). The terms are Firm Orders, no cancellations. Delivery is January 31, 2008 +-30 days and represents our best effort rather than a firm date. Our standard warranty applies.

We appreciate the support for our efforts with the Australia factory. Your email commitments helped in our discussion to get them to accept a small volume run without significant increases in our costs.

You have a vendor bending over backwards for you here, take advantage of it.

Thank You Aussie!!!! Order done!!!:)

FYI to Bill or whom ever at Aussie. windows IE had a problem with the site. IE would crash clicking on the ad to cart button. Fire Fox works good though.

We will advise the web master of the problems. We have seen orders coming in but know know if they are using IE or not.

Some questions being asked:

1. Do we charge your credit card now...yes we do as we have to place a significant deposit with the order.

2. When do I need to place the order? Order when you want, just understand that as soon as the order is sold that is the end of the model and there will not be anymore made.

We will post more as they come in.

Thank you for your interest in this and we are hopefull that it works out for everyone.

Ummmm? Are you taking about one for the 44a?
I just went to the site & they do NOT have the ad to cart button next to it any more. The last price listed was 299.99

It's the same for the WJ 44a too. The regulare D44 lockers are there for 229.99. I would say if you added shipping it would be about $249. Make damn sure you got a "44a locker". The reg 44 lockers will not work.

*update*

We apologize for the lack of information. Australia manufacturing closes for
the Christmas and New Years holidays on December 14 and do not come back to
work until January 14. They get a government directed extended holiday so
we dont have any contact with the staff there until next Monday.

When we got the Australian factory to agree to make a limited run of XD14450
lockers the agreement was that they would "work it in between high volume
runs" without a firm delivery schedule. Otherwise they would have either not
agreed to do the limited production run or the costs would be double what
they were.

The initial schedule was soft, but quoted as "around January 31, 2008". As
soon as they return to work we will get an updated schedule from them and
notify all customers who have purchased this model.

Thanks for your patience.

This just in...

When we got the factory to agree to a limited production run without a substantial increase in costs the agreement with them was that they would use their "best efforts" to make an end of January ship schedule. Our order page and emails for this one time purchase stated that the delivery schedule of January 31, 2008 was +- 30 days.

The factory has advised that the production run is underway and that we will be receiving the parts in February. We do not have a firm ship schedule to us yet, but we are expecting these units to be in the lot that will ship from Australia in mid-Feb. All shipments to us are by air freight.

We apologize for this delay and as soon as we have the exact ship date from Australia we will be advising everyone.

Thank you

Funny you should say something. The other day someone said they had talked to ann ARB rep. The rep said if there was enough interest they would consider making an ARB locker for the 44a.

Of corse if it happened it would take about as long as it took Aussie to make their locker. About 5 or so years.

The factory has completed 1/2 of the order and have them packed for shipment. The balance is in heat treat over this weekend, so it looks like a shipment to us on Friday is a pretty good estimate. If anyone wants to cancel their order due to long delivery just contact us as we have a waiting list.

Thank you for your understanding of this as a short production run just seems to never get the priority we all had hoped for.
