My wife pays for my parts, & I dont want to spend a pile of money for parts that are going to brake on the way...I have looked at piles of threds & never found anything on this issue... Any help/threds I missed ??? Wont be getting any untill I know the all the facts, Besides she has spent 1700+$ on "JEEP PARTS" in the last 3 months... ...THANK'S...MITCH...

Why not just get a trailer and not worry about it??

Wow buddy, step away from the punctuation keys and either buy yourself a trailer or air/e-locker. And tell me how you got a wife that'll put $1700 into your rig

No locker should lock the axle unless power is being applied to it... That said, get a flat bed if there's any way you can. Flat towing is better than nothing, but still leaves many issues if you break down.

Trailer $$$ takes away from "JEEP PARTS" $$$ Besides my ZJ is not a "trailer queen" it has a removable stow master 5000 tow bar I spent a grand on when I got my moterhome so I can pull in park & "GO"...:D Dont have to stop,:( unload, unhook, move trailer, park moterhome:confused: ,park trailer:confused: than "GO"...:) ...MITCH... P.S...Wife not gf...try it it worked for me...

1 bad thing about flat towing is...you still wear your tires down and your not even driving it.

I've been towing my 01 grand behind my motorhome for 4 years. Never had a problem. Also, I have Aussie lockers f/r. Will put it on a trailer if I ever save up enough to get one.
