If you would use punctuation (like maybe a ?) then it would be easier to understand what you're asking.

With that said, I'm sure they do have some sort of kit but you're asking the wrong forum. Not saying someone on here doesn't know, but you'd get a better response if you asked a forum that was geared more towards Yotas.

The 4cyl actually isn't that bad in those Yotas, I'm actually looking at getting an 86 4Runner with the 4cyl just as a DD for now but I'll eventually turn it into a trail rig. EDIT again: didn't see your response H3 lol

Actually that's a bonus.

The one good thing will be that reliable and easy to work on 4cyl. the toyota 6's are not up to what you expect from a yota, including the power diffrence between the 4 and 6.

Hopefully it's geared if it's running 33's. If not gears will fix the lack of power you were feeling during the test drive.(4.56's or maybe 4.88's should do the trick)

BTW: YES, on the v8. It's easy to find the parts needed for a 350 swap(search!!!). There VERY common swaps on late model toys.

It also kinda helps to let us know a little bit more about the vehicle, they've only been making 4Runners for over 20 years now . . . .

I just sold an 87 toyota pickup with the 4 banger, and it did very well. Of course going up a couple inches in tire size to a mud terrain was rough and you couldn't accelerate worth a damn, it was still a good truck.

Once again the 4 banger is a great motor. i think you are better off with the four than with a six cylinder. the four is a tourquey little sumofabitch and it runs real well for a long time.

22RE is a solid motor.
Gear it for the tires you're running and it won't let you down.
