I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their generous donations. I know it was a little unusual, and hopefully not inappropriate, that we solicited for donations for this fund but I sincerely appreciate what everyone was able to give. It is extremely expensive to compete with the financial backing of SUWA and other organizations that try to close down our trails. Only through donations from members like you will we be able to keep access to these beautiful lands for future generations.

The total amount we were able to raise was $374 dollars! That is excellent.

If you are interested to see where the money has gone or would like to donate more go to this link...

or directly to the BRC's website

And once again a special thanks to our presenter, Moab local and long time multiple access advocate Jeff Stevens, whom was gracious enough to come and participate in the fundraiser.

thanks again!

Yes, Come on everyone join BRC. It's the least we can do to help keep our trails open.

Cody, It was in no way inappropriate. We come up there and use the trails, and yes we do cleanup ours and some others trash, but what is a $20.00 donation or so for that privledge. They are fighting the good fight, everyone that drives up there should help out.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I look forward to seeing them back at the dinner next year. I'll be better prepared.

Not inappropriate at all, IMO. I've thought about this myself, but took no action. THANK YOU for doing something about it!

I've been a member of BRC for a number of years, and also send additional amounts to the legal fund throughout each year. I don't know of any other organization who is more active and successful in support of our cause.

I think it was one of the better ideas in a long time to have them attend the dinner. Glad to participate.

I am working on an idea for donating more money in addition to a personal check.

I would spell out my idea but in talking to Sandy it would be best to just do it and feel good about it amoungst the planners group. However there are a lot of ideas we could all participate in and do some good in the mean time.
