Hey there All,

Are you tired of the hassle of cleaning and oiling your K&N Air Filters??

Why not switch to the new OIL FREE Amsoil EA Air filter. With these filters you just clean it and stick it back on, NO OIL needed.

Amsoil has a complete line of stock replacement air filters along with universal air induction filter that will replace the K&N filter on an FIPK system.

Here are a couple of pictures of my buddies Grand Cherokee with a 5.9 (any guesses as to who's it is?) :D , he even went so far as to sand off the K&N logo from the air tube and slapped an Amsoil sticker on it.

Please email or PM for special pricing for your specific application.

Thanks.

Dirk

Here is the "official" Amsoil response on warranty of the filter:

In response to your inquiry, the AMSOIL warranty is 4 year 100,000 miles. To be cleaned every 25,000 miles or 1 time a year.

What's the price for one on a 98 4.0L. I don't have any of that fancy ass ricer intake shit, just the factory airbox.

The nice thing about the Amsoil filters is the lack of oil, so everything stays cleaner.

Is this a paper filter or the same type of filter as the K&N?

AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters are made from the same high-quality nanofiber media found in other AMSOIL Ea Air Filters. The nanofiber media is pleated with epoxy-coated wire on the face and back of the media for additional strength and stiffness. High quality, pliable urethane connectors with plastisol potting complete the product. Each Ea Air Induction Filter comes with a clamp for convenient installation.

It is similar to the K&N material.

Both, you just blow it out and then rinse it off.

What is the particulate size pass-through? :D

I was under the impression that the Amsoil filter looked like a paper filter, but with synthetic media whereas the K&N is cotton gauze.

I might be interested in one for the new WK. Shoot me a PM Dirk, when you get a chance.

Cue-Ball

Curt I will shoot you some pricing in a few.

I don't have the pass-thru size, but here is a little about the type of media.

Ea Air Filters’ synthetic nanofiber media removes 5 times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than wet gauze filter media.

It looks like this but it's bigger and it has a flange to seal it up in the box.
I couldn't find the exact one online yet.

Got mine yesterday, installed today. Looks skinnier than the STP/Deutch filter, but more folds, so it appears to be more material. We'll see what happens with the butt dyno :D

Thanks for getting it out to me Dirk! :best:

Well not only can I replace K&N filters but here is my Turbo City replacement set up.

Since originally posting this Amsoil has come out with a new pre-filter for all of their universal air filters. You have probably seen the pre-filters on desert race trucks and such.

This is a removable "sock" that goes over the filter and stops the larger dirt particles from even getting into the filter. This extends the life of the filter and is alot easier to clean than even the air filter as all you have to do is pull it off, shake it off, maybe rince it and then slap it back on. No tools requred and it can be on/off in a matter of minutes.

Any way enough talking about it here are some pix.

Don't forget everybody, Dirk also sells the rest of Amsoil's stuff. I had him get a hold of both types of spray lubricant (MP and MP-HD), and they both kick fucking ass! MP is like WD40 times 9 million with good lubrication (cleans like a mother, and leaves behind a nice lubricant), and MP-HD is like PB-Blaster times infinity! Awesome lubrication, and it leaves behind a waxy coating to keep shit working. Make sure to add that to your order!

And for you guys that have ordered filter post up some pix will yea!!!!!!!

Yes I can get pretty much any fluid you need for your ride, Not just your Jeep but the diesel oil is GREAT for your tow rigs!!!

Not to mention you guys running hydro assist and full hydro steering HAVE to try out the tractor fluid, Dustin/Becca Webster from Red Bull Rockcrawlers swear by it.

Let me know what you need.

Yes you just hose it down and let it dry.

(sorry for the delay, did not get an email notification about your post).

And with a prefilter installed it is even easier to clean.
