I got it a week ago, and havn't done much yet. Last owner had a exhause put on and they never turned the muffler flat, I just have to take the time to do it. It's all tight just side ways which holds it down alot more than normal. Plains are 3.5" RE lift, Icelandoffroad Cut-out's and run 33X12.5-15's Oh and the axles that came with it are Locked and running 4.56's gears.

i think thats a grand thing, they eat motor mounts for snacks, I quit replacing mine, been thru about 4 of em there, that rubber is a poor design , replace it and in about a month youll be right back where you started with it

How long did it take you to do the swap to the 231
nick_n_ii
05-21-2007, 12:08 PM
About 3 Hours. I got a t-case from a '93 XJ, had the same spline length and count. As for the linkage, I just used the one on the 231 and got luck all works great..

After that weekend in the Mud My build plains have grone a little.. I was real suprised as to how well a wheeler the ZJ is with just a 2.25" BB and 31's
Future plains are for:
4" lift system
33X10's
True-Tracks front and rear
4.10 grears
