Anyone know where one can buy Jeep special tools? I need MD998346 (pilot bearing puller).
OTC, Snap-On, Matco, etc.

pack grease in the hole with a grease gun and then use an alignment tool and hammer to force it in the grease will push it out I know it sounds redneck but it always works for me

The grease thing works, that is only way I have ever done it. The tool is slick though.

There's a little hole on the side that goes under the bearing. Wouldn't the grease just squirt out there?
Sudz---Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.
Does anyone here have that OTC tool? I was just wondering if the largest size spreader thing was large enough for this bearing.

You can "borrow" a similar tool from VatoZone. It's a made-in-China POS, but it will get the job done.
I've had limited success with the grease method.

Well, I just ordered the Miller pilot bearing puller (the one in the FSM). It was $65. Not too bad...I'll be interested to see their catalogue, as they have no products on their web site. Thanks again Sudz.
