Once my ZJ is done I plan on starting a little build for my wife. I am going to be using an 89 Suzuki Sidekick. Going to do a solid axle swap in the front and will be using Toyota axles front and rear. I started getting parts together, just got the Toyota rear axle today and have some connections in some local yards to get me the front. here is the kit I am going to be running. I think it will be rather cool. I plan on throwing some 35's on for her.

I am actually looking forward to driving a little smaller rig on occasion.

"Trail Slayer" Sidekick/Tracker Straight Axle Coil Spring Conversion Kit

Turn your Sidekick / Tracker into a serious off-road machine! 40” of articulation and great handling characteristics! We hate to admit it but these rigs are out-performing the even the “bad boy” Samurai’s. Because this kit takes advantage of the superior strength of Toyota axles, your Sidekick , Tracker, or X-90 becomes an extremely durable, reliable TRAIL SLAYER!!!

You're not the only one who's thought about building a second, much smaller rig for casual wheelin'.....

Why are there three coils that are equal length and another that is odd?

Having never crawled under one is this a three link front with a panhard?

Yep, three link front with a panhard. Huh, that is weird about the springs in the pic.

That looks sweet. Looks like it's bobbed in the rear. One of my buddies is about to finish up the build of a bobbed Scrambler...

Certainly much higher on the cool scale than the Zuki, and the work is already done. Looks like a cool rig, but is it actually any smaller than the ZJ?

Probably a little bigger and about the same width. It is sprung over with RE 1.5" springs. It has 7" of lift and a 2" body. I may take it down to a 1" body, if I feel it needs it. I still need to do a few things to it, but I couldn't build it where it sits for what I bought it for. Got quailty parts and allot of extra's. IT will also be a cool rig to drive around town.

Plans are
Poison Spider front fenders
Poison Spider rocker guards
Poison Spider Crusher Corners
Build a full Cage
ARB's front and rear
HYDRO assist
Beadlocks
40" IROKS.

That is sweet. Keep us posted.
After I build my rover (probably during the build) i will be looking for a Scambler as well, i always liked them.
