I skipped to page 4 and 5 and from what I read, it seemed like it still wasn't certain. SUX.

It is closed, what's in question now are dump bump and the entire Hell's Revenge trail as it exits on that land as well.

Wow...that blows. I guess there's no need for me to drive the Sterling to GSW this year...I wanted to go up Lion's Back in it with the Trashcan in the back. I feel really lucky that I got to drive/climb it once- the year before it closed...was definitely one of those things that "everyone should try at least once."
Anyone know how much the condos that are supposedly being built by it are going for? Might make a pretty sweet vacation home.

From what I've read on CO4x4 the "cheap" condos start in the 300's.

THAT SUCKS !!!
I guess for a price you can buy the right lot and put a gate in your back yard?
Anyone what to go in with me on it? :smt115

Sorry Dave, I don't have change. Can I just collect .40 at GSW?
We are off and running on our new second home and were all big investers now!

My only question is that once they succeed in closing all the trails and effectively chasing 4-wheelers out, who the fuck is gonna wanna buy a shack out there let alone a 300k+ condo?

what if MC members, and Pirate members, and others all pitched in to buy the land. That would be pretty friggin cool.

That land has been for sale for years. Every member of POR would have to donate like 10k in order to even get close to the cost of that.

I hate to see in 75-100 years how much wheeling will there still be? It's going to get to the point where you won't be able to drive on a gravel road.

It would be nice, but we are all broke from the jeeps.
