I dig the mirror, search about the trimming homie.

the 285/75/16 is still a 33" tall tire, just 10.50" wide. What are you asking about them?

that is about how much i trimmed and ran 33x12.50's all over the place. You just need to run a crapload of bumpstop on the XJ's.. I was running probably over 4" of bumpstops f/r (see sig) you can run 10" of lift and still rub if you have factory bumpstops

anyway, to answer your question you can take the front feders all the way up to that crease that runs just below the door handles. you cant trim much more off the the rear feders without cutting past the pinch weld

decent pic of where i trimmed.

you ran the 33x12.50s with about the same trimming? what backspace wheel did you run? And how much lift?

Yea that mirror was broken off after sliding into and tree and having to back up

it was about 5-6". but like i said, i has more to do with how much bumpstop you are running. you need at least 4" of bumpstop f/r. 3.5" backspacing on 15x8's

well i got some 3.75 backspaced 16x8s so i should be ok there, I'll work on the bump stops as well, so you guys this i can keep running the 285s?
