This years event will be moved back to June, due to popular demand.

June 8-10 2007

It will be held in Winchester VA.

This will be our 10th Anniversary Year so lets have a great turnout.

Get out of class, ride bitch, or hold onto cage :D I would call shotgun in yours, but we all know where it will be in June. HAHAHAHA

If I weren't in classes, I would drag the Scrambler down and play though. That is still the best wheeling I have even done, right up to the point the D30 ring decided to cough out a few teeth.

1 month away...!!! :) Who's ready and who's getting close to being ready. Luckily I didn't "f" anything up at icebreakers so no repairs needed. Just gotta put it back on the trailer and away I go. Yeah! :)

I want to go. I'm working on my crap everyday to try to get it ready. Do i have to pre-register or can i just pay when i get there? I've never been there before, so what type of stuff should i bring? (besides all my gear for wheelin) Are there places to eat or BBQ?

I'm still planning to attend. Nothing major happened to my ZJ at Rausch Creek this past weekend (busted tcase linkage, dents in rockers and ripped off rear bumper), so I should be good to go with a little bit of work. I just hope I don't get pulled over if I don't get a rear bumper fabbed up in time (I do at least have a trailer hitch...).

Does anyone know about the registration part? Their site is kinda weird it had different prices and when you click on the GSE event agenda page it says Grand Slam East Event Agenda– Sep 14-16 2007

You don't have to preregister if you don't want. I would recommend it though! But again...not required.

There is more info on www.bigdogsoffroad.com

Is there any benefit to doing it now? Is there a limited # of spots or something?
Again I've never been there or anywhere else for that matter, and there is very little info about it.

I'll be in the area riding winch bitch in a buddys YJ on 37" Boggers (along with at least two toyota buggys on 38's & 39.5's, & a hacked up XJ on 38's)

Hopefully I'll run into a few of ya'

If you plan on paying with your credit card you should preregister. If you've got cash in hand then just show up if you want. They only accept credit cards for camping...not for wheeling.

I found that out in April...had to get up early the next morning to run into town to get cash.

I'll be there to try the new lift out. Unfortunately though, I won't be able to show up until Friday night / Saturday morning.

sorry guys, I'm out. I am starting to save up for a house, tow rig, and trailer and the budget just isn't there for this trip. Plus I would be up shit creek without a paddle if I broke something major (which is only a matter of time) being that I can't tow it 8 hours to get home. Hopefully I'll have things better worked out for one of the next GS events.
