Hey guys, I'm Jim. I found this site via a link to OverkillZJ's project Phoenix buggy. I'm active on JF, Just Jeeps of Omaha (there isn't an active Lincoln 4x4 club, we're trying to start one, but thats another story) and a local car enthusiasts forum. I think I joined the NAGCA forum, but i never check it. Anyway, my ZJ is a 98 5.9 Limited. I had a 93 5.2L before, wheeled it in stock form. This one is on a 3" front to rear lift with JKS discos, Rustys HD trackbar in the front and rear swaybar delete. 265/75R16 Pro Comp mudders on stock rims. Thats it for now, I'm saving for Hanson front and rear bumpers and rockers, Kevin's skidplates, and winch. The armor is my first priority, seeing as the Mopar stuff is woefully inadequate. A longarm setup is in the future, but not til i do the above stuff. Here's a few pics.

I will when the VC takes a dump. I understand the 231 can handle a little more HP than the 242. There is an 04 Rubicon sitting in the shop at work and I'm really considering stealing its t-case and axles.

And yea, the 5.9 rocks. my 93 had the 5.2, but this thing is so much better

ahhh another niner... Nice rig. Do the 265's rub at all?

I'm thinking about getting some AT's and putting them on my stock rims for driving around and leaving the 33's off until trail time.

the tires will rub slightly when the jeeps on a steep incline due to the CA bushings compressing. doesn't rub during normal flex. Tire choice was kinda hard for me, first because I was keeping the stock 16" rim ans second because this is my daily and i take her on trips a lot. The Pro Comps are supposed to be a little harder than the BFG mudders, so hopefully i'll get some decent life out of them, or at least til i go with the 6" and 35's in a year or so

Yea, I never even joined JU, but I get a little bored with JF when I get on and see 30 new threads for BB's and OMG my VIC says my rear lights are out
