So, I have an assembled 4.7L stroker that I want gone. The kit is from Accurate Power. I know they are not in business any more so I don't know how that effects the resale of one of their kits. But it has bushed rods, 9.6:1 pistons 0.060" over bore. Crane cam for low end torque (I'll get the exact specs if I have to). It also has a big valve head and a flow kooler H2O pump. The engine was blasted, bored, honed and the machine shop installed the cam and cam bearings. All the rest of the work was done by a friend of mine who works at the machine shop. But its been sitting around for over a year now so it will need a freshinging, so to speak. It will need to be cleaned. And everything checked out before it is run. Pending their sale I also have a loaded 99+ intake manifold with a 62mm TB and 24lb injectors, a set of Mike Leach headers,a Taurus E-fan and a high output ignition kit (coil, wires, plugs...). For the whole thing I'd like to get $1500 but I'm not shipping this pig. I'm located in the Syracuse area of NY and am willing to drive a ways to deliver or meet 1/2 way or what ever for the cost of gas. Just the engine I'd like to get $1200. PM or post doesn't matter, I check back fairly often. For the record I think I have about $5000 to $6000 invested in this thing. I also have a performance built 42re trans with a TQ converter matched to the cam.

Intake, T-body and injectors are no longer available.

I thought the accurate power kit was a 4.6??

That is a great deal for $1500 I spent more than that on mine and it did not have a Hesco pump, nor the header or the intake.

Good luck.

Dirk, I believe the 4.6 results from a .030" overbore and a 4.7 is a .060". At least that's what my research has shown as I'm looking to build one for my wife's XJ in a year or so.

Sweet deal on this one though, good luck with the sale servouxk

Yea I think you are right Dave,

Sometimes I kick myself for buying the stroker I did, I could have probably saved money just buying one built from Golen or something, atleast then I would know what my actual specs are!!!!

Oh well story of my freakin' Jeep life.

OK, how about $1000, for the engine, bigvalve head, leach headers, taurus E-fan, T-stat controller for the fan, high power ignition system, carsound cat and and flowmaster 50. The muffler needs a new pipe welded to the outlet (or inlet I cant remember). If you are wondering, the crank is the 4 counter weight version.
This has to be worth the drive for someone. I have a chain fall in my barn so I can load it up real easy.

If you didn't live halfway across the US from me, I would be seriously considering.

servouxh,
I am assuming "CNY" means Central New York? I went ahead and posted a link to this on WNYOffroad (Buffalo area group) to try to help you out. I know there are a couple of members that were looking into stroking their I6, so I was thinking there may be some interest.
